Luna

We started out listing Luna for $250. And that is what other Pyreneese go for. But we have brought her price down allot in order to sell her soon. She is a GREAT dog at a GREAT price!

Luna will turn two years old on Valentines day. She is a well behaved dog. Luna has a deep bark that is very effective in communicating her protection of your yard. Luna is calm, good with people and a very low maintenance dog.

She is calm and good with kids, which makes her a perfect yard dog. She likes to interact with humans but does not have high demands for interaction. She likes to come in the house, and is well behaved as long as your garbages are out of reach. When she is in the home she will not want to stay inside for very long. She is a bit claustrophobic and prefers the outside. Luna is house trained.

Luna has a double thick coat of fur. The cold does not phase her at all. Having her sleep in the dog house or the garage would be good for the very cold winter nights.

Being a pyraneese she will need a dominant leader to follow, let her know you are the boss and she will follow your lead. She still has some puppy tendency to jump up a bit when she is excited. She has been trained on a leash but will need a refresher course when it gets warm for walks again.

Luna is not fixed. She is almost two years old, a good age for breeding a dog if you plan on breeding her.

Luna's one weakness is that she loves to bark, mostly at night. The Citronella PetSafe Anti-Bark Spray Collar sells for $35 on Amazon, it is very effective at calming down Luna's bark and dramatically reducing how much she barks.

At this time we have Luna sleep in the garage at night because it reduces her barking and shelters her a bit more from the extra cold nights.
